KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
❖ Develop and publish content for a wide range of digital communication channels e.g. websites, blogs, video feeds, trending social networking sites & resource centres and etc. ❖ Manage digital communication channels marketing campaigns and day-to-day publishing of content. ❖ Advocate Seda brand in digital communication spaces. ❖ Monitor and evaluate Seda’s digital communication impact in the market. ❖ Perform copyright for all content published in digital communication channels.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
❖ Matric (NQF Level 4) plus National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Relations or Journalism or Marketing or Communications studies. Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Relations or Journalism or Marketing or Communications studies as added advantage.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
❖ 4 - 6 year’s work experience in managing digital communication channels and programmes in a public or private sector environment. Able to demonstrate: ❖ Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. ❖ Experience in using digital communication channels or sites e.g. websites, blogs, video feeds, trending social networking sites & resource centres and etc. ❖ Ability to keep abreast of the latest industry best practices and trends to promote organisational brand. ❖ Experience in sourcing, creating and managing content development and publishing. ❖ Knowledge of general marketing principles and tools. ❖ Knowledge of search engine optimization. ❖ Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate spelling and grammar.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Must understand the function of the Audit and Risk Committee and be able to lead constructive dialogue with management, internal and external auditors and the Seda Board. Oversee compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Oversee risk management of the organisation, the integrity of reporting; and sustainability matters regarding the organisation. Maintain a system of effective and efficient internal and external audit functions to provide the necessary assurance to Seda.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee will be expected to render independent oversight of the following:
Internal control systems
Internal audit function
Risk areas of Seda’s operations to be covered in the scope of internal and external audits
Seda’s compliance with legal and regulatory provisions
Any accounting and auditing concerns
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
B Com. Degree (NQF Level 7) and further qualification as a CA / CIA / MBA /MBL is a must.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
10 years of management experience gained from Accounting / Audit / Financial Management / Risk Management with sound knowledge of management principles, ethics and corporate governance, risk management and internal audit processes.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations as a member of an Audit Committee will be advantageous.
