MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To research and develop support programmes in line with Seda strategy for the development of small enterprises in South Africa

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
❖ Implement the Seda Small Enterprise Research and Development operational strategy and workplan
❖ Conduct research and develop support programmes
❖ Contribute to the positioning of Seda as a thought leader within Small Enterprise sector
❖ Implement, monitor and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders
❖ Provide administrative support within the Unit 
 
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
❖ Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Development studies/Public Administration/Business Management.
❖ Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Development studies/Public Administration/Business Management as an added advantage. 
 
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
❖ 4 - 6 years practical experience in the Professional Research and Analysis environment
❖ At least 2 - 3 years experience in the Development of Small Enterprise Programmes/Products will be an added advantage
Able to demonstrate:
❖ Project management experience
❖ Experience in the management of implementing Small Enterprise development interventions.
❖ Prior experience in implementing interventions to all levels of stakeholders across geographical locations
❖ Knowledge and experience in facilitating Enterprise Development in the private/public sector and/or internationally
❖ Knowledge of legislation, needs that impact on the SMME sector
❖ Proposal development experience and skills
