Requirements: A relevant REQV 13 qualification in Business Studies plus a professional teaching qualification. Three years lecturing experience within TVET Sector. Knowledge and understanding of the CET Act. Assessor and Moderator certificates. A valid driver’s license. Must be registered with SACE and be computer literate.
 
Key Performance Areas: Engage in class teaching. Responsible for effective functioning of the department and organize relevant extra-curricular activities to ensure that the subjects, learning areas and the education of the students is promoted in a proper manner.

Assessor and Moderator certificates will be an added advantage. Must be registered with SACE and be computer literate. Knowledge of Report 191 and NCV.
 
Key Performance Areas: Teaching and learning which includes reporting on student engagement in teaching activities. Teaching administration, PoAs and PoEs and overseeing classrooms with set standard. Assessment which includes compliance to assessment examinations and moderation policies and leading and coordination of assessment. Subject/curriculum which includes development of academic support programmes, liaison with student support officers, management of students behaviour in the classroom and attendance.
