The following contract position expiring on 31 March 2030 exists in the organisation:
                                                  
ADMINISTRATOR: MULTIMEDIA AND SOCIAL MEDIA
ALL-INCLUSIVE ANNUAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE (TCTC): R 352 306.00
 
Reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for:
  • communicating the organization’s role, services, events, programmes etc on social media platforms ensuring up-to-date information and optimal SASSETA awareness.
  • applying various social media tactics in creating brand awareness and generating inbound traffic that strengthens the SETA’s social media presence and build reputation.
  • supporting SASSETA brand awareness through various creative multimedia solutions across various platforms.
  • increasing the SASSETA social media followers by creating an online presence that is attractive with viewers and industry.
  • day to day monitoring of social media across all platforms ensuring proactive response to support and protect brand integrity.
  • responding, answering and addressing all social media related queries ensuring amiable resolution.
  • efficiently and effectively communicating to our various online stakeholders through digital platforms.
  • developing creative multimedia content ideas, aligned with the SASSETA values and mandates for online stakeholders and internal staff.
  • efficiently and effectively rendering of live streaming during events for our stakeholders and internal staff.
  • developing and generating monthly reports detailing performance across all social media platforms.
  • continuously tracking, monitoring and measuring individual performance against set standards and performance targets.
  • ensure effective, professional communication and dialogue with all Stakeholders, Management, Staff and external Stakeholders.
  • effectively planning, coordinating, managing and executing ad hoc projects.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12 (NQF level 4) is required.
  • A minimum of NQF Level 5 qualification in Marketing/Communications/Journalism/Public Relations/Media Studies is required.
  • 2 years relevant multimedia and social media experience is required.
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms is required.
  • Must be computer literate at an intermediate level.
