SUPERVISOR: LEARNER AFFAIRS

Purpose: The Supervisor: Learner Affairs is responsible for ensuring that the administrative support office operate smoothly and efficiently to provide necessary well-being support services to traffic trainees in the Traffic Training Academy.

Requirements: •Matric (NQF Level 4) • Relevant Certificate (NQF Level 6) in Business Administration or Equivalent • Relevant National Diploma in Business Administration or Equivalent (NQF 6) will be advantageous• 3 to 4 years’ relevant experience in an administration role

Duties: •Provide information desk services to trainees on all matters relating to trainees’ support services within the Training Academy •Provide and arrange awareness session of learning support services •Ensure implementation of student wellness programmes •Arrange social functions for trainees within the Training Academy •Assist with trainee discipline •Communicate Training Academy rules and ensure compliance thereof 
•Ensure sound relationship between trainees, lecturers and management of the Training Academy •Manage administrative processes relating to trainees complaints •Run induction events •Maintain record of student complaints Traffic Trainees affairs issues such as class absences, poor performance, and any other trainees related issues •Escalate matters to the Employee Wellness Unit where required •Manage the Unit through the development and implementation of operational plan
