Purpose: The Administrative Officer is responsible for performing necessary administrative support to the Administration Support unit within the Road Traffic Training Academy.
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent • Administrative Certificate Qualification • A relevant National Diploma in Training Administration / Management will be advantageous • 2–3-years administration experience

Duties: • Handle office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies • Handle office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies • Perform day-to-day operations of the administrative support department and staff members • Implement administrative procedures and systems and ensure compliance
• Check supply levels of all stock and materials and inform the Supervisor when stock needs to be ordered • Check if all equipment is in a working order and inform the Supervisor if equipment is faulty • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail • Inspect all motor vehicles and logbooks to ensure compliance to the fleet management policy • Check the petrol cards expiry dates and ensure that all expired cards are ordered • Monitor usage and petrol consumption through regular reconciliations • Administer petty cash and ensure compliance with the policy • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure a seamless and positive experience • Manage communication including emails and phone calls • Schedule appointments, conferences, meetings and open days as needed • Perform day-to-day operations of the administrative support department and staff members • Implement administrative procedures and systems and ensure compliance • Check supply levels of all stock and materials and inform the Supervisor when stock needs to be ordered • Check if all equipment is in a working order and inform the Supervisor if equipment is faulty • Inspect all motor vehicles and logbooks to ensure compliance to the fleet management policy • Check the petrol cards expiry dates and ensure that all expired cards are ordered • Monitor usage and petrol consumption through regular reconciliations • Administer petty cash and ensure compliance with the policy • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
