Purpose of the Job: Reporting to Manager: Wintel and Integrity Systems, the successful incumbent will be responsible to lead role in the Windows environment which includes supervising Microsoft server administrators. Design, deliver and maintain a secure, fast, effective and reliable server architecture ensuring the delivery of Microsoft windows active directory services and windows server platform. Maintain systems integration, availability and quality of service.
Key Performance Areas
- Install and configure Microsoft active directory, file and print servers, windows hosting servers.
- Monitor all user connections and running applications.
- Configure and monitor routing groups.
- Maintain and apply global, computer and user policies.
- Maintain and administer Microsoft systems and servers (Microsoft servers, AD Exchange, SCOM & SCCM).
- Maintain healthy state of active directory toolset, ADMT, Group Policy management, DNS, DHCP, account and file security, storage technologies, etc.
- Provide end user training as needed.
- Comply with standards for server operating systems, applications and hardware.
- Install, configure and support any approved RAF application as required by business.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software purchases.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in IT qualification.
- Relevant 5 – 7 years' experience system administration/ Engineer of which 2 years must have been on supervisory level or area of expertise.
- Experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix Administration, System Design.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R668 907.00 per annum, negotiable.
NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in a manner that will suit their needs".
