The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads
The Organization requires the services of qualified individuals for the following positions; the position will be based in Cape Town Regional Offices.

SPECIALIST: ETHICS: T.A.S.K LEVEL 14 (1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Ethics, the successful incumbent will be responsible to implement all ethics initiatives at the operational level across all RAF offices.

Continuous Ethics Research
Key Performance Areas
Ethics/ Values Awareness
- Plan, organise and facilitate ethics/ values and related policies awareness campaigns.
- Conduct training needs analysis on ethics/ values.
- Manage ethics knowledge base by assisting in the drafting of ethics articles for publication in the Ethics Newsletter.
Facilitate the development and Implementation of Ethics Framework and Strategies/ Plans
- Assist in the development of ethics programme of action.
- Coordinate and plan ethics events.
Foster Relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with other business units and other combined assurance service.
- Provide continuous support to Ethics Ambassadors’ programme.
Continuous Ethics Research
- Conduct and research on best practices on ethics management and fraud awareness.
Management of Case Management and Conflict of Interest
- Manage case management and conflict of interest.
- Track, attend and follow up on reported unethical cases.
Ethical Reporting
- Assist in drafting of different ethics reports for timeous submission to relevant stakeholders on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Management Support
- Support line management on addressing all ethics related matters.
- Advise line management on emerging ethics risks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 related qualification in Business Ethics and Compliance/ Public Administration/ Legal.
- Ethics Officer Certification by The Ethics Institute/ Certified Fraud Examiner is a requirement.
- Relevant 5 -7 years’ experience in an ethics/ compliance/ risk/ fraud investigation environment of which 2 years must have been on a supervisory level or area of expertise.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R668 907.00 per annum, negotiable.
