The Road Accident Fund's mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads
The Organisation requires the services of qualified individuals for the following position, the positions will be based in Head Office:-

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Senior Manager: Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture & Process Management, the successful incumbent will be accountable to work with stakeholders to specify, design and select information system that deliver value to the RAF.
Key Performance Areas
- Develop component Solution Architectures.
- Align Solution Architectures to cater for RABS.
- Develop and update an application portfolio.
- Perform skills transfer.
- Develop conceptual solution architecture.
- Perform advisory service to business on solution building blocks.
- Identify existing business risks related to the implementation of software design.
- Draw up risk mitigation plan.
- Develop weekly and monthly reports.
- Attend all required technical meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in Information System or Computer Science.
- TOGAF certification.
- SOA Certification will be an added advantage.
- Relevant 6 – 8 years; experience in ICT industry of which 2 years on Solution Architect must have been on a supervisory level.
- Experience of developing Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Strong integration experience.
- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products (i.e. document management, collaboration and content management).
- Strategic capability and leadership.

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc.
- Ability to develop solution architecture designs.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills – demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills.
Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R911 075.00 per annum, negotiable.
NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs".
