Purpose of the Job: To validate and assess legal cost bills
 
Key Performance Areas
  • Perform assessment of bills
  • Assessment of Service Provider's Bills and Invoice (Panel Attorneys)
  • Attend to Taxation of Bills of Cost
  • Attend Reviews of Bill of Cost
  • Attend to Litigation relating to costs
  • Authorization of Bills of Cost for payment
  • Play advisory role and function to Claims Departments, Attorney and Cost Consultants
  • Quality assurance on writs reporting
 
Qualifications and Experience
  • NQF 7 (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Law or related qualification
  • Admission as an Attorney would be advantageous
  • Relevant 3 years' experience  Claims or Legal Cost environment

Remuneration
A total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R349 998, 00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.

NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer; successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs".
