Purpose of the Job: To validate and assess legal cost bills
Key Performance Areas
- Perform assessment of bills
- Assessment of Service Provider's Bills and Invoice (Panel Attorneys)
- Attend to Taxation of Bills of Cost
- Attend Reviews of Bill of Cost
- Attend to Litigation relating to costs
- Authorization of Bills of Cost for payment
- Play advisory role and function to Claims Departments, Attorney and Cost Consultants
- Quality assurance on writs reporting
Qualifications and Experience
- NQF 7 (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Law or related qualification
- Admission as an Attorney would be advantageous
- Relevant 3 years' experience Claims or Legal Cost environment

Remuneration
A total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R349 998, 00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
