Purpose of the Job: The position of Junior Customer Engineer is responsible to provide IT end-user support to internal and external users of RAF ICT services.
 
Key Performance Areas
  • Ensure IT services are accessible to internal and external customers.
  • Manage Multifunctional devices and standalone scanners.
  • Provide 1st line telephone and network infrastructure support.
  • Manage incident and request calls
  • Maintain and update a register of all ICT assets.
  • Conduct Bi-annual asset verification.
  • Provide 1st line VC Support.
  • Provide input to ICT Operations reports.
  • Ensure availability of ICT services at remote based offices.
 

​Required minimum education/training and work experience
  • NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in IT qualification.
  • 3 year's relevant system support experience.

Remuneration
A total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R302 772.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
