ROAD ACCIDENT FUND (RAF)
The Road Accident Fund's mission is, to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads.
The Organization requires the services of a qualified individual for the position of Administrative Assistant: Verification and Validation based at Cape Town Regional Office.

Purpose of the Job: To ensure a valid & legitimate claim is being filed.

Key Performance Areas
Movement of files and correspondence
- Movement registers used to record the movement of files.
- Attending to file movements in the team
Verification and Validation of claims
- Checking Enatis, Home Affairs Live and other links to verify and validate claim.
- Flagging, and paginating of claim files.
Record keeping
- Keeping statistics of duplicate claims, claims registered, claims lodged.
Stakeholder Relations
- Attend to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Interrogation
- Keeping diary system, set up interrogations, minute taking, questioning process.
Office Administration
- Booking claims into CAFS, Preparing of acknowledgments and objection letter, to validity of claim.
Qualifications & Experience
- NQF 4 (Matric or Grade 12) qualification.
- Relevant 1 year working in an office environment.
- Personal mastery.
- Emotional wisdom.
- Ethics and governance.

- Computer literacy.
- Communication (Written, Verbal, Listening).

Remuneration
The total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is minimum R185 338.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
