Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Complaints and PAIA, the successful incumbent will be accountable for Processing PAIA requests and all matters incidental thereto.
Key Performance Areas
· Manage, administer and resolve PAIA requests within legislated timelines.
· Improve the escalation process by following up with Regions and providing feedback on reminders.
· Maintain PAIA tracking system and statistics on all processed request.
· Keep Information Officers and Deputy Information Officers abreast of developments in PAIA and International trends on access to information.
· Manage Memorandum of Understanding between the RAF and Stakeholders.
· Provide input into and facilitate the development of PAIA education, training and awareness.
· Compile reports on any PAIA Interventions conducted.
· Compile statutory annual reports on the PAIA for submission to the South African Human Rights Commission or other regulative authority.

Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in Law related qualification.
· Relevant 4 years' experience in legal or law environment of which one (1) year must have been on supervisory level.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R502 953.00 per annum, negotiable.
