The Organisation requires the services and skills of qualified individual on a Three (3) Year Fixed Term Contract for the following position which will be based in East London Regional Office: -

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Business Support, the successful incumbent responsibility will be to provide IT end-user support to internal and external users of RAF ICT services.
Key Performance Areas
· Manage IT incidents and requests.
· Setup new users
· Configure new equipment.
· Update users on progress being made in solving their problems.
· Escalate problems to Customer Engineer if necessary.
· Adopt a proactive approach to prevent problems from arising
· Provide ICT support for RAF road shows
· Provide 1st line VC problems and escalate matters to Customer Engineer
· Provide input to ICT Operations reports.
· Ensure compliance to OHS when setting up new sites

Qualifications and Experience
· NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
· NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) in A+ or N+ or other IT qualification
· NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in related field will be advantageous.
· Drivers License
Experience
· At least 2 years' relevant system support experience.
· Citrix knowledge advantageous

· Citrix knowledge will be advantageous
· Driver's license.
· Willingness to travel and work extra hours.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R302 772.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
