Job Description:
 
Requirements: Degree/ National Diploma in Policing, Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation, Law and Forensic Science and Technology ? 4 years or more experience in criminal investigation environment, of which 2 years must be as an Enforcement Officer and / or Investigation Officer ? Detective Course or Detective Learning Programme (DLP), or Resolving of Crime (ROC) will be an added advantage and is preferred ? Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years’ driving experience. Ideal candidates are expected to have their own reliable vehicle ? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be  considered during the selection process.
 
Essential criteria: ? Ability to work under pressure ? Ability to interpret legislation regulating the Private Security Sector (PSS)? High administrative, planning and monitoring skills ? Computer  literacy (Microsoft packages) ? Problem-solving and analysis skills ? Knowledge of Criminal  Procedure Act, Law Evidence Amendment Act, Firearms Control Act, Commercial and  Administrative Law ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Interpersonal skills and  sound judgement ? Report writing skills ? Evidence collection, presentation of evidence, and  testimony skills (court and tribunal proceedings) ? Ability to observe confidentiality in terms of all aspects of the job.
 
Key Performance Areas: Conducting investigations and inspections of complaints and illegal practices with regards to improper conduct of security service providers ? Conduct routine The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), with its head office in Centurion, is the statutory body regulating the private security industry in South Africa. PSiRA is seeking dynamic, experienced, and suitably qualified professionals to fill the following challenging position. The Authority intends to promote representativity through the filling of this position. inspections at security service providers to ensure compliance in terms of the Act and inspections at Security Service Providers (SSP’s) to ensure compliance in terms of the Act and in particular the Code of Conduct Regulations; these service providers includes all categories or classes of security services such as Guarding, CIT, Locksmiths, Private Investigators, Electronic Security Industry etc. ? Conduct infrastructure and capacity inspections for new applicant security businesses in order to ensure that they meet the prescribed infrastructure and capacity requirements to render the security services ? Issue directives to the Private Security Industry (PSI) in respect of any obligation in terms of PSIRA Act and Regulations ? Conduct assessments of training facilities in order to verify whether they meet the accreditation requirements ? Investigate and obtain evidence pertaining to non-compliance conduct by SSP’s in respect to the code of conduct for security service providers. ? Investigations including auditing of records kept by the security service provider in terms of applicable legislation, fraudulent activities and conduct of the SSP’s ? Identify any possible contraventions of the Code of Conduct Regulations and compilation of statements and charge sheets relating to the allegations of improper conduct ? Liaise with Authority and State Prosecutors with regards to the charges and evidence ? Serving of Regulation 3(4) notices (charge sheet and summons) ? Keep informed of progress on cases initiated which are handed over to law enforcement agencies , until concluded. ? Perform Commissioner of Oaths / Peace Officer functions ? Follow due process in taking affidavits of witnesses as well as aspects dealing with the collection of evidence to prove a case ?Testify in improper Conduct enquiries ? Liaison with the finance department in respect of outstanding annual fees / fines ? Submission of statistical reports on Law Enforcement activities.

Job Description
 
Requirements: Degree/ National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent coupled with 1 to 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management environment? Driver’s License ? Recognition of Prior Leaning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process. 
 
Essential criteria: Computer Literacy and sound administrative skills, Record management, basic planning skills ? Time management and multi-tasking abilities ? Ability to work under pressure ? High level of honesty, integrity, reliable, client & service orientation ? Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act & Treasury Regulations, PSIRA policies, procedures and systems? Key Performance Areas: Ensure that all goods and/or service purchase requisitions are properly completed and duly authorised by the appropriate line manager ? Prepare request for quotations (RFQ) based on line managers / user’s requirements ? Liaise with suppliers and obtain the quotations for the required goods/services ? Evaluate quotations received from suppliers ? Prepare evaluation and award reports for purpose of generating purchase orders against the correct supplier, by the delegated person(s)?Advise line managers on goods/service specifications, bidding procedures, contract management and travel management processes ?Compile bidding documents, including but not limited to, Terms of References, standard bidding documents, and initiate the public tender advertisement process ? Update and maintain purchase order, commitment, tender and contract management registers? Provide Admin Support to the division: Provide Excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders ? Ensure implementation of internal controls as deemed necessary? Opening, closing and tracing contract file ? Keep contract files up to date ? Ensure that the Bid Adjudication Committee Agenda is distributed to members timely ? Compile bid tender documentation ? Check correctness and compliance before recording them on the Requisition Register? Document Management: Maintain in house documents in accordance with the existing practices? Ensure smooth inflow and outflow of documents? Maintain a sound filing system of the existing contracts of the Authority? Avail batches to management and auditors when needed.

Key Performance Areas: Maintain and keep the contract list complete and accurate ? Ensure that contracts are in place for all relevant services? Compile and draft Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in engagement with users and Legal Services? Ensure that SLAS are in place for all contracted services ? Evaluate and monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations ?Manage the contract’s intent, compliance, keep track of delivery and performance ? Manage changes (additions, modifications and deletions) to the contracts with the suppliers and business units ?Keep track of changes and updates to contract documentation ? Negotiate, Administer, Extend, Terminate and Renegotiate contracts with suppliers ? Ensure that all contracted commitments and critical deliverables are met ? Ensure that Legal Services division is consulted regarding contractual non-performances ? Ensure that expired contracts do not continue running without written approval ? Manage the contract risk register and escalate risks and issues as required ? Analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine reasonability of prices ? Engage Legal Services regarding complaints occurring in performance of contracts? Facilitation and formulation of Special Conditions of the contract for inclusion in bids ?Maintain the Procurement Plan List and ensure annual target are achieved.

Key Performance Areas: Receipts and registration of code of conduct dockets? Distribution of code of conduct dockets to persecutors for perusal? Keeping and producing statistics of all code of conduct dockets received? Adhering to the timelines in accordance with the business process  ? Monthly and quarterly reports to the Team Leader ? Arrange travel bookings for prosecutors and presiding officers? Preparation of Legal packs for various committees and must keep immaculate files.
