ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR (CEO)
Salary Range: R 26 733 – R 38 010 P/M (Six-months Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Centurion
Requirements: National Diploma in Office Administration, Public Administration, Business Management, Information Management, LLB or equivalent qualification • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in office administration, executive support, or related role ? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process.
Essential criteria: ? Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Proficiency in MS Office suite and office management systems, and general IT skills ? Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality at all times ? Project management skills. ? High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity ? Basic understanding of South African legal and regulatory frameworks, administrative law, and corporate governance is advantageous ? Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills ? Multitasking and problem-solving capabilities as well as ability to work under pressure.
Key Performance Areas: • Provide high-level administrative support to the office of the Director, including diary management, travel arrangements, correspondence, and meeting coordination ? Monitor and track deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups for the Director’s office? Prepare, compile, and distribute reports, briefing notes, presentations, and handling of official The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), with its head office in Centurion, is the statutory body regulating the private security industry in South Africa. PSiRA is seeking dynamic, experienced, and suitably qualified professionals to fill the following challenging positions. The Authority intends to promote representativity through the filling of these position. Documents for the office of the Director ? Maintain filing systems and document control, records management in line with organisational standards ? Facilitate effective communication between the Director’s office and internal/external stakeholders, ? Monitor deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of tasks ? Support legal and compliance functions by reviewing documents, agreements, and submissions prior to executive consideration, ? Conduct basic legal research and provide administrative assistance in preparing reports or recommendations for the Director ? Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in handling all legal and administrative matters. ? Assist in implementing efficient office processes, procedures, and compliance measures for the Director’s office.
