Job Advert Summary
- Assists the packing and Milling plants operators during their shift in a cost-effective and safe manner by condition monitoring their assigned field plant units.
- Timeously reports identified field problems to the plant operator and shift supervisor and executing work instructions given by the operator or shift supervisor over the radio.
- Inspects their operational area and ensures good housekeeping and safe running of plant units and the safety of other people working in their area of jurisdiction.
- Operates the various pieces of equipment such as loader, Bobcat, tractor, forklift, Tennant sweeper, Grab crane, overhead crane, Axle Weighbridge.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Certificate in process, production, chemistry or equivalent
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cement extraction from silos
- Silo Level measurements
- Troubleshooting in Dispatch plant
- Packing cement with Rotary cement packer
- Adhering to bag weight requirements
- Palletizing of cement with palletizer
- Accurate reporting and record keeping
- Adhere to all Targets, KPIs and Standards
- Effective teamwork – create good morale
- Good communication
- Report deviations to the supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities
- To cost effectively operate the plant and equipment in such a manner that good quality cement products are consistently manufactured
- Ensure environmental compliance and ensure all dust collectors are working efficiently
- Conduct quality control tests and adjust production to ensure good quality products; Adhere to Quality targets from Chemist
- Supervise the team on shift and be responsible for the team: eg leave, training, discipline, morale, recognition, performance management, scorecards etc
- Conduct INVOCOMS to ensure team members are well informed of all required matters
- Be responsible for safety of the team eg ensuring vehicle checkilsts, key control register & Risk assessments are completed correctly and when required & completion of Production 2.9.2 File
- Be responsible for arranging and excecuting plant housekeeping
- Be responsible for arranging maintenance on equipment to eliminate / prevent spillages
- Know and manage all stock levels as well as manage monthly physical stock taking
- Complete required reports accurately
- Complete weekly jobcards from planning office
- Good communication to all Internal and External customers as well as Management
- Attempt to solve all problems first before making call-outs
- Be multiskilled to also manage Dispatch operations when required
- Have a positive attitude and contribute in terms of innovative suggestions to ensure continuous improvement
- Work in conjunction with Clinker off-loading contractor to be responsible for crane/excavator operator as well as all communications between contractor and TFR for placing / removing of train wagons
- Be multiskilled to also do Bulk Dispatching via SAP and Wayware after hours

Job Advert Summary
- Review and process incoming sales orders and ensure timely delivery to customers with zero tolerance on errors
- Verify order details (product pricing, product, customer information, correct source plant and proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies before this impact the load plan)
- Ensure customers receives order confirmations
- Ensure orders are confirmed before planning and orders are confirming on the day for the day (BULK sales) to avoid revenue loss caused by divert cost
- Ensure customer complaints are registered on CRM, followed up and resolved within the PPC SLA
- Communicate with clients regarding the status of their orders and deliveries, this includes orders not fulfilled due to payment not received
- Adhere to the sourcing guidelines established by S&OP to ensure maximum contribution margin.
- Adhoc responsibilities which includes and not limited to afterhours support
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- National diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration
- Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Intermediate Excel and Outlook)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or sales support role.
- Product knowledge within same or similar industry including SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and order management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with customers and team members professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a stressful environment ensuring deadlines and times lines are met
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely processing of sales orders from customers.
- Ensuring all order details (product specifications, quantities, customer information) are correct and complete.
- Coordinating with logistics to ensure on-time delivery and fulfilment.
- Prompt and clear communication with customers regarding order status, shipping dates, delays, and any issues and order confirmations
- Ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the order lifecycle.
- Maintain governance and compliance within policies (Audit, GRC and Compliance Management)
- Accurate and timely processing of diversion orders.
- Management of diversions and logistics coordination ensuring divert cost are minimal
- Sign off the load plan from logistics daily
- Fully utilize PPC contract fleet
- Proactively identify and reach out to customers experiencing a decline in sales to understand their needs and explore opportunities for re-engagement.
- Maintain accurate weekly and monthly records and reports of client interaction,
- Identifying inefficiencies or areas for improvement in sales and order management processes through checks done daily, weekly and monthly,
- Contributing suggestions for improving customer service, workflow efficiency, and systems used by the sales team.
- Process order corrections and returns ensuring accurate invoicing and stock control
- Update and manage customer databases, ensuring master data is accurate and always correct
- 100% order management process is adhered with zero errors in work
