IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER
CONTRACT — 18 MONTHS
 
Petroleum Agency SA is South Africa's licensing agency which promotes exploration for natural oil and gas resources, monitors exploration and production activities, archives all relevant data and maintains a national database for the upstream petroleum industry.
An opportunity has arisen for an IT Systems Engineer in the Information Technology Department. 
 
 
This position reports directly to the IT Manager and the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Key responsibilities:
• Network Management
• IT Support
• System Architecture
• Project based activities
• Administration and Reporting
 
Qualifications/Experience
• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology
• Microsoft Certified Professional Certificate (MCSA)
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an IT/Systems Administrator
• Strong LAN skills and solid experience on Windows Server 2012 or above, Microsoft Exchange 2016 or above, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policies
• Experience on VMware vSphere and ESXi Server
• Knowledge of Cisco switches and routers
• NetApp Storage will be advantageous
