PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE OF THE FREE STATE (PACOFS)
VACANCY
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant post:-
POSITION: INTERNAL CONTROL OFFICER
All-inclusive remuneration: R379 844 – R597 380 per annum
MIINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A 3 year Diploma in Auditing, Accounting or equivalent at NQF level 6.
At least 3 years’ experience in risk management, auditing, etc. experience, preferably in the public
sector.
Knowledge of the PFMA, GRAP Standards, Risk Management Framework, etc.
Valid drivers’ licence.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Execute the responsibilities of a risk management officer (reporting to the CEO on this role);
Establish an integrated internal control systems, including policies;
Monitor the implementation of the internal and external audit action plan;
Interface with the internal auditors;
Perform financial systems controller functions;
Assist in the development and monitor the implementation of the fraud prevention plan;
Compile the MTEF budget of the organisation;
Ensure that proper measures for processing the institution’s money are put in place and adhered to;
Assist in all planning, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and maintain the relevant portfolio of evidence.
Please note: The above-mentioned salary range is all-inclusive and is only negotiable if the incumbent’s current earnings is above the entry level.
