PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE OF THE FREE STATE (PACOFS)
VACANCY
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant post:-
POSITION: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
All-inclusive remuneration: R679 461 – R989 378 per annum
MIINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Relevant Degree at NQF level 7 in Financial Accounting or equivalent relevant qualification;
5 years’ experience or more in a GRAP environment;
Practical knowledge of Accpac and VIP Payroll systems, including CaseWare, will be an added advantage;
Practical knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations and relevant Government Regulations and policies;
Valid drivers’ licence.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Manage payroll function;
Review interim and annual financial statements for timely submission to the chief financial officer;
Compile audit action plans for internal and external audit findings;
Responsible for assets management;
Oversee revenue and debt management;
Responsible for accounts payable;
Manage the infrastructure projects spending;
Review monthly expenditure classification, balance sheet accounts reconciliation and revenue/expenditure analysis for submission to the chief financial officer;
Review for accuracy, completeness and input accounting records monthly;
Review the monthly asset register and GL reconciliation and other reconciliations.
Please note: The above-mentioned salary range is all-inclusive and is only negotiable if the incumbent’s current earnings is above the entry level.
