PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE OF THE FREE STATE (PACOFS)
 
The Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (Pacofs) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for appointment on a three (3) year contract in compliance with section 51(1)(a)(i) of the PFMA to serve on the Audit and Risk Committee.
 
 
1. AUDIT AND RISK COMMITTEE (2 MEMBERS)
 
Accounting/Auditing x 1 
 
Requirements
A relevant postgraduate qualification in Accounting/Auditing/Public Finance Management/ Masters In Business Administration/Leadership and Possession of CA (SA), SAIPA, CIMA or ACCA will be an added advantage; Working knowledge of the GRAP standards, the PFMA and treasury regulations. Executive management experience in the public sector will be an added advantage. 

 
Information and communication technology (ICT) x 1 
 
Requirements 
A master's degree in information security or information technology/CISA. Extensive experience in ICT Governance. Executive management experience in the public sector will be an added advantage. 



2. COUNCIL’S SPECIAL PROJECTS (FUNDRAISING) COMMITTEE 
 
Requirements
Solid track record of successful funds raising and sponsorships for non-profit organisations or public sector entities. Credible corporate and/or funding entities network and contacts. Understanding of the performing arts and culture industry. 
 
 
Note that remuneration of committee members will be in terms of the National Treasury rates.
