CHIEF ASSET MANAGEMENT OFFICER
SALARY GROUP: Executive Management
LOCATIN: Head Office, Johannesburg

BUSINESS UNIT: Intersite Asset Investments
DEPARTMENT: Asset Management
DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
To lead and oversee the management, optimisation, commercialisation, and sustainable performance of Intersite’s property and asset portfolio, ensuring maximum revenue generation, efficient operational delivery, and enhanced asset value.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Honours Degree in Property Management / Real Estate / Business Management / Operations Management / Commercial.
• Valid Driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial / property / asset management, of which 5 years must be at senior management level.
• Proven experience in commercial leasing, portfolio optimisation, and facilities operations.
• Track record of managing multi-regional teams and revenue-generating portfolios >R1bn.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
•Masters Degree in Property Management / Business Administration / Real Estate Finance, or Commercial Asset Management.
•SAPOA or equivalent Real Estate Association.

• Strategic Commercial Portfolio Leadership, Regional Commercial Operations Oversight, Property Management, Facilities and Centre Management, Asset Information Services, Asset Management & Research Services, Stakeholder Management, Risk, Governance and Compliance, Financial Management and People Management.

•Commercial Operations, Leasing Frameworks and Standards.

DEPARTMENTAL MISSION
To provide strategic leadership in the formulation and execution of Intersite’s corporate strategy, integrated planning, performance monitoring, strategic foresight, and brand positioning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Law, Strategic Management, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Valid Driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior and executive management, of which 5 years should be in strategic planning, performance management, or corporate strategy in multiple environments, including within a public entity or SOE.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
• Masters Degree in Strategic Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or Public Administration
• Institute for Strategic Management (ISM), South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) and Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA).
