JOB TITLE: Leasing Consultant 
GRADE: C3 
CONTRACT: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract 
LOCATION: Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth 
DEPARTMENT: Real Estate Asset Management

Mission
To manage and coordinate retail, commercial and residential properties at the relevant stations within the region in a financially viable manner.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Render comprehensive revenue management services.
• Identify opportunities to generate income.
• Inspect the campus daily.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of Annual and mid-term room inspections.
• Daily site inspection.
• Participate in the on-duty roster during week and weekend days.
• Manage service levels agreements.
• Manage contractors.
• Project-manage portfolio large-scale maintenance and renovations projects.
• Manage staff performance
• Planning resolutions for aging jobs.
• Identify and act on Facilities’ categories with recurring job requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Develop partnerships and network with relevant stakeholders (Utilities & breakages).
• Monitor and report on all audit queries and building inspections.
• Managing own performance and development.
 
 
Knowledge: • Computer literacy, Knowledge of Real Estate Asset Management, Property Legislation, Property market conditions, Portfolio properties, Leasing policies, Map reading, Basic Accounting, Interpretation of Lease Agreements, Knowledge of Local Authority By laws & regulations, Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 certificate
• National Diploma in Real Estate & Asset Management / Property studies or equivalent Property Management Qualification.
• 3 years experience in Real Estate Asset Management or similar type of experience in the property industry (commercial / retail).
• Valid driver’s license
