STOCK CONTROLLER
SALARY GROUP: Junior Officiaf - Permanent
LOCATION: Johannesburg (Harmony)
JOB GRADE: B Band: B 4-5
DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain Management

Mission: To ensure that all stock material or spare parts for bus maintenance is always available for maintenance execution
 
Key Responsibilities: • Running the material requirement based on the usage. • Receiving stock and spares in the warehouse • Expedite on time delivery of Stock / Material • Ensure items are available as per agreed time frames • Ensure items are checked against invoice / delivery note and Purchase Orders • Ensure stock is shelved according to correct store locations and bin numbers • Oversee the issuing and receiving of stock / material • Ensure all received and issued material are accurately captured on the system and maintained in line with prescribed requirement. Ensure Monthly stock counts comply with SCM policies and procedures • Ensure SCM Policies and Procedures are followed • General housekeeping of the warehouse • Safe keeping of critical documents • Attend to emergency request that is in line with inventory management
 
 
Knowledge: Knowledge of Spares, Technical background (Buses, Knowledge of SAP system
 
Skills: Decision making and leadership skills, Stock keeping and controlling, Report writing, Planning, Stock taking. 
 
Attitude: Ability to work under pressure, Customer orientated, Responsible, Team work, Initiative, Reliable, Analytical, Good judgement, Ability and Willingness to work extended hours, Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic.
 
Minimum Requirements: • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification • Computer literacy • Valid driver's license • Experience in inventory management (spares) • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as stock controller
 
Experience: • Experience in stock material and stock control is an advantage
