VIP PROTECTOR DRIVER
  • Fixed term Contract of 5 years 
  • Task Grade: 09 (Subject to Job evaluation results)
  • Annual Salary: (R 304 816,45 – R 395 700,49) excluding benefits
  • Stationed at Mthatha
  • Reports to Senior VIP Protector & Protocol Officer
  • The incumbent will have to sign a performance plan and will be in a probationary position for a minimum of 3 to 12 months.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Grade B Security Officer Course
  • PSIRA Certificate
  • Code EB Driving License with PrDP
  • Advanced Driving Certificate
  • Firearm Competency
  • 02 year’s in the relevant field
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercising proactive and reactive protection of Municipal political principals
  • Performing duties and activities associated with the inspection of workplace and tools of trade
  • Performing communication and reporting requirements of the functionality of the sub-section

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 10 (Standard 8)
  • 01-year experience in the relevant field
 
Key Performance Areas
  • Performs cleaning operations and maintains cleanliness of designated areas
  • Communicates and reports activities associated with cleaning services
