Job Description
The OPFA is offering a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Program for TVET College students who have completed their N6 Information Technology qualification and require practical experience to graduate. Applicants with other N6 qualifications relevant to the Information Technology discipline are also invited to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with troubleshooting of computer hardware and applications.
- Log and classify ICT incidents and service requests and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide support for ICT systems and escalate complex issues to senior personnel.
- Assist in documenting ICT change requests and releases in line with processes.
- Keeping the ICT documentation in order (electronic and paper).
- Support ICT team members in coordinating tasks or activities within ICT projects.
- Attend ICT meetings and take notes or assist with meeting logistics.
- Engaging with relevant service providers.
- Collecting and organising information to assist with ICT audits.
- Assist with updating of ICT procedures and manuals.
- Help update the ICT asset register, warranties, contracts, etc.
- Updating the ICT risk register.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports (ICT operations, budgets, payments, etc)
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Line Manager.
Program Stipend: R8,500.00 per month.

Job Requirements
- Have completed an N6 qualification from a TVET College.
- Age must be between 18-35 years
- Be an unemployed South African citizen.
- Provide a letter from their college confirming completion of theoretical studies and practical training requirements. All Student must have a Workplace-Based Learning Logbook supplied by the TVET College to document their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Job Description
The OPFA is inviting applications from members of the public to serve as Remuneration Committee members for a period of three (3) years and assist the Pension Funds Adjudicator (PFA) in discharging his/her duties. The term of the appointment is subject to renewal at the discretion of the PFA. The remuneration shall be in accordance with National Treasury Guidelines and/or OPFA pre-determined rates.
Job Requirements
- A relevant postgraduate degree (NQF Level 8) in Human Resources, Finance or similar. At least 8 years of senior management/consulting experience in remuneration management, or human resources and corporate governance.
- Membership in a relevant professional body as minimum requirement.
- Certificate in remuneration management South African Reward Association will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience serving on a board or committee of a public entity will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and other relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience with Pension Funds Act, 24 of 1956 will be an added advantage.
- Experience in overseeing or developing and implementing remuneration policies and strategies, Patterson grading, and benchmarking of salaries against the market to achieve fair and competitive pay. Knowledge of the relevant corporate governance principles and practices.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in remuneration matters, laws, and the regulatory environment.
- Must not be a disqualified person as per Section 69 of the Companies Act, 2008.
