Nquthu Local Municipality (KZ 242) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position:
Position : Technician: Electrical
Salary : Task Grade 10 of the category 1 Municipality, plus Benefits such as Medical Aid, Pension Fund and 13th Cheque
Type of Contract : Permanent
Place of Work : Technical Services Offices
Key Requirements:
N6: Electrical Engineering
A Valid driver’s license or progressive state of readiness
2 year working experience in electrical environment
Key Performance Areas
Perform duties associated with electrical operations and connections.
Co-ordinates and controls the tasks/ activities of personnel and allocates and priorities outcomes.
Implementing a maintenance plan for the safe distribution of electricity for the whole supply area of the municipality.
Restoring power interruptions in the shortage time possible and to ensure that safety standards are met during such processes.
Maintaining, supplying and repairing existing distribution networks according to maintenance plan and break downs.
Maintaining, supplying and repairing electrical distribution systems in council building and utility plants.
Ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs done timeously and properly maintenance of the distribution networks.
