Northam Zondereinde is an established Platinum Group Metal (PGM) Mine in the Limpopo province which produces some 300 000 PGM ounces annually. The Zondereinde Mine is the home of pioneering technology and innovation, both in the underground workings and at its world-class metallurgical infrastructure. It is situated some 40km from Thabazimbi, in close proximity to the naturally scenic Pilanesberg and Waterberg Reserve.
ZONDEREINDE COMMUNITY TRUST BURSARY 2023

Required Documents:
• Valid South African ID
• Copy of Matric Certificate
• Academic record for students currently registered or latest results for matriculants
• Proof of residence (will be verified prior to allocation of bursary)
• Applicants must have admission (provisional or otherwise) at any registered institution of higher learning recognized by SAQA
Acceptance into the Zondereinde Community Trust Bursary is dependent on a successful interview and assessment. The bursary is renewable on annual basis and dependent on the bursar's academic performance and conduct.

Bojating, Sifikile, Lesetheng, Moruleng (Greenside, Matangwaneng and Makresteng), Mononono, Mmorogong, Mantserre, Kraalhoek, Ga-Phadi/ Pylkop, Ramokokastad, Welgeval, Manam akgotheng, Sandfontein, Disake, Ntswanalemetsing, Magong, Ligkraal, Ramasedi, Dikweipi, Mopyane, Mabele-a-pudi and Sekgakwaneng/ Sekgakwana.

ARTISAN LEARNERSHIPS 2023

Basic Function
In line with our approved Social and Labour Plan (SLP), Northam Platinum, Zondereinde Mine is looking to award bursaries to top-performing students studying towards mining related qualifications. This exciting opportunity is accessible to students studying accredited qualifications at the major South African Universities and University of Technology.
Learnerships will be offered in the following Engineering disciplines:
• Boilermaking
• Electrical
• Fitting
• Instrumentation
• Rigger
Required Documents
• A certified positive Identification Document
• Brief Curriculum Vitae
• Proof of residence
• Must be medically fit
Minimum requirements
• N2 certificate including the four relevant subjects of Maths, Engineering Science, Trade Theory and a fourth subject as required by the trade; or
• Relevant Engineering NCV Certificate with seven subjects at NQF Level 3; or
• Technical Grade 12 with Maths, Science, Language, and related trade theory subject
• Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal)
Advantageous
• Grade 12
• N3 / N4 / N5 / N6
• Documented proof of practical experience in Engineering, at least 6 months

In line with our approved Social and Labour Plan (SLP), Northam Platinum, Zondereinde Mine is looking to award a Work Integrated Learning opportunities for students wishing to gain workplace learning experience to graduate. These are exciting opportunities in which the successful learner (s) shall be required to undergo Work Integrated Learning aligned to their field of study. The learner will be given a Fixed-term Contract of Employment aligned to the duration of the learnership agreement with a stipend / allowance.
Work Integrated Learning/Experiential Training is offered in the following fields:
