POST: COMPANY SECRETARY

SALARY: R733 257 p/a (ALL INCLUSIVE REMUNERATION PACKAGE)
Job Purpose: To provide secretariat services and support to the Board and its committees
Requirements: • A relevant degree or equivalent. A postgraduate qualification in Corporate governance will be an added advantage 'Minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior secretarial position, five of which must have been as company secretary.
Competencies: • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and prescripts applicable to the Public Services such as Constitution of RSA 1996, Public Services Act of 1994, the North West Housing Corporations Act, the Public Finance Management Act and King IV Code of Good Governance Practice. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Good listening skills. Knowledge and experience of writing minutes of the meetings, compiling reports and managing time. Strategic planning, time and organizing skills, and interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
Duties: • Convening and servicing all meetings of the Board, including ordinary, special and Board Committee meetings. Production of agendas, minutes, resolutions and decisions. Handling meeting correspondence. Providing strategic governance advice to the Board and the Executive. Ensuring that board members and the executive team are trained and are knowledgeable on corporate governance matters. Keeping up to date with any regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the organisation. Ensuring that policies are up to date and are approved. Acting as a point of contact and building good relationships with shareholders. Implementing processes or systems to help ensure good management of the organisation or compliance with legislation.

POST: MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCE

Job Purpose: To manage the Human Resource portfolio
Requirements: •A relevant bachelor's degree in Human Resource management or any related qualification. Minimum of 7 years' experience in human resources management.
Competencies: In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation such as BCEA No. 75 of 1997, Labour Relations Act No. 66 of 1996 etc. Knowledge
and experience employment policies and procedures. Overseeing payroll and rewards and recognition programs as well as managing workplace
safety initiatives. Strategic planning, time and organizing skills 'Good communication, interpersonal skills etc.
Duties: Develop strategic and short term plans for the Human Resources function. Direct and control the key performance indicators and outcomes of personnel within the Human Resources Section. Manage and control organization change and development through the formulation of specific policies and procedures. Implement Human Resources communication strategies aimed at creating awareness and/ or seeking acknowledgement. Plan, lead and direct the training and development functionality. Manage and control procedures and processes associated with maintaining employment relations and industrial peace • Manage the scope and procedural administrative requirements and reporting deadlines associated with the function

POST: ASSISTANT MANAGER FINANCIAL CONTROL
CENTRE: HEAD OFFICE — MAHIKENG
SALARY: R 480 000 p/a (ALL INCLUSIVE REMUNERATION PACKAGE)
Job Purpose: To manage various functions in financial control division
Requirements: A relevant bachelor's degree in financial accounting. Must have serviced audit articles. A minimum of five years' experience in the public sector, at least two of which must have been post articles.
Competencies: In-depth knowledge of GRAP and its application. Thorough knowledge of the PFMA Act and Treasury regulations. Experience in compilation of financial statements. Experience in working on Pastel and Caseware. Experience in the production of management accounts.
Duties: Monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting. Maintenance of the general ledger. Clearing and maintenance of control accounts and suspense account. Management and monitoring of internal controls. Plan, lead and direct the financial controlling unit functions. Manage the payments function. Manage creditors function.
