Call for Nominations for Appointment of fifteen (15) Members to
the North West Development Corporation (SOC) Ltd Board

 
Introduction
Institutions and/or individuals are hereby invited to nominate for appointment of fifteen (15) members to the North West Development Corporation (SOC) Ltd Board. The appointment of these members to the Board is or a period of three (3) years.
The North West Development Corporation is established in terms of North West Development Corporation Limited Act, 1995, (Act 6 of 1995) as a government enterprise to plan, finance, coordinate, promote and carry out the economic development of the Province and its people in the field of industry, commerce, finance, mining and other business, resulting in wealth and job creation.
 
Requirements 
Members of the Board, when viewed collectively, must be South African persons, who should be fit and proper to serve on the Board by virtue of their qualifications, expertise and experience in the fields of Commercial law, Property Development and Management, Public service administration (with an understanding of public service policies and the PFMA), financial services, trade, investment and enterprise development or corporate governance and a Chartered Accountant (a relevant degree or postgraduate degree to the above requirements-wilt be-an-added advantage). 

 
Nomination Procedure
Written nominations must contain the full name and address of the institution and/or individual making the nomination, the nominee's signed acceptance of the nomination and his/her Curriculum Vitae, providing at least the following information: Full name, ID number and gender. Contact address, telephone and e-mail address. Previous experience (quoting dates and organisations concerned). Certified copies of academic qualifications and identity document.

Closing date for nominations: Tuesday, 04 June 2020 at 16h00 pm
 
Please note that nominees will be subjected to qualifications checks and security clearance. Late nominations will not be considered. 
 
NB: Communication will be limited to successful candidates only.
 
If you have not received any communication from the Department within 21 days of the advertisement, please regard your nomination as unsuccessful.
