Successful SMS Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a technical assessment and the selected interviewed candidates will undertake a two day competency assessments at a venue and date determined by the Department. The competency assessment test generic managerial competencies using mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tool. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Appointment of the successful candidate(s) will be strictly subject to the Personnel Suitability Checks results/outcome before appointment. Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in the disqualification of the application. The applicants should state the applicable reference number with the relevant post.
