RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main purpose of the job is to effectively implement the NSFAS Digital Transformation portfolio and related projects, ensure business and ICT continuous alignment and identify process improvement opportunities.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Portfolio and Transformation
• Create and drive new ways of working (nWoW) across the end-to-end NSFAS value chain, including projects or change initiatives to existing systems
• Own and drive the NSFAS digital transformation roadmap and delivery

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The main purpose of the job is to manage the legal services and provision of legal advisory services in support of NSFAS’ operations. The job is secondly responsible for the effective management of all legal and contractual risks. The job is lastly responsible for all governance related matters in terms of the efficient and lawful administration, including the drafting of regulations where necessary.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to Strategic Development for the Department
• Develop and maintain the legal strategy and work plan.
• Collaborate with the risk and compliance to define and maintain the compliance universe, compliance management processes and drive implementation

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary purpose of the position is to provide the full range of secretariat, governance, and compliance support to ensure the effective functioning of the Management Committee (Mancom) and various Board Subcommittees in accordance with legislative requirements and corporate governance best practices. The successful incumbent will be responsible for monitoring compliance by adhering to applicable laws and regulations, committee decisions and resolutions. • Experience in research on funding of post graduate students
 
Preferred:
• Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Social Sciences
• 2-5 years working experience on funding of post graduate students
• Academically and conceptually strong report-writing skills, evidenced through publication history
• Ability to operate in pressured environment with creativity, initiative, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing tasks and deliverables
