Generic Competencies:
Applicants must display competency in the post-specific functions of the post;

Core Functions:
Manage all mechanical / civil & structural engineering aspects of construction projects, including design, documentation and inspection.
Brief/liaise with consultants and do site inspections/attend the site meetings of building projects.
Compile specifications.
Co-ordinate mechanical / civil & structural related projects according to Chief Engineer.
Computer aided design and drafting of new equipment.
Development of new equipment.
All Engineering tasks as prescribed by Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
