CALL FOR APPLICATIONS AND/OR NOMINATIONS: PESP7 ADJUDICATION PANEL

 

The National Heritage Council of South Africa (NHC) calls for nominations/applications for the appointment of members to serve on the PESP7 Funding Panel for a three-year term that will be constituted as follows:

One (1) Chairperson and four (4) members drawn from the Heritage sector

 

NOMINATIONS/APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM INDIVIDUALS WITH RELEVANT EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE

1. An extensive understanding and knowledge of the South African heritage sector, inclusive; but not limited to History, Indigenous Knowledge System, Conservation, Curation, and Research.

2. The following grant-making experience is required:

  • structured evaluation methodologies,
  • scoring systems, and
  • consensus-based adjudication processes.

3. Expertise in project management and financial management.

4. Experience in evaluating social impact, community-based programmes and understanding of inclusive economic development will be an added advantage.
