The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is an agency of the Department of Arts and Culture that was created to ensure the equitable growth of South Africa's film and video industry. We do this by providing funding for the development, production, marketing and distribution of films and the training and development of filmmakers.  In addition, the NFVF commissions research and produces industry statistics that provide both the public and stakeholders with valuable insights into the South African film & video industry. 
 
VACANCY
 
Company Secretariat
Reporting to: Council of the NFVF
Chief Executive Officer (Administrative reporting line)
 
Job Purpose:
To provide company secretarial services (independent guidance and support at the highest level of decision-making of the NFVF) to the NFVF.
 
 
Qualification & Experience:
  • National Senior Certificate;
  • 3-5 years secretarial/administrative experience;
  • Relevant qualification.
 
Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following:
  • Report writing/minute taking capabilities; 
    • Accountability to the NFVF Council;
    • Administrative and corporate governance duties; and
    • Any other relevant functions as required.
