REQUIREMENTS
BSc / BCom degree in Agricultural Economics, Honour’s degree in Agricultural Economics will be an added advantage. At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in Agricultural environment. Drivers Licence. Good understanding of and / or experience working in public entities or other relevant organisation. Experience in conducting research.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Research and Reports
• Compilation of the Input Cost Monitor (ICM) reports.
• Compilation of the Farm-to-Retail-Price-Spread (FTRPS) reports.
• Contribute to the compilation of the Food Cost Review (FCR) report.
• Compilation of the Macroeconomic Digest: Labour reports.
• Compilation of the Macroeconomic Digest: Economic Growth reports.
• Conduct research projects / programmes/initiatives in the area of Agro-Food Chains and produce an annual report (1), with quarterly progress updates.
• Author journal articles that are submitted to accredited journals
2. Cross divisional, NAMC Initiatives and Ad-Hoc activities
• Provide inputs/reports on Cross-focus area, cross-divisional collaboration, NAMC initiatives and Ad Hoc activities
3. Stakeholder engagement / Public Liaison
• Provide an information system/presentations/data to stakeholders as requested.
