Job Purpose:
To develop, implement and maintain the technical function for Nando’s Local/Global markets under the banner of The Brand Food Team with a strong focus on product and supplier compliance, supplier development performance management, risk management and technical problem solving. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Management:
• Develop, analyze and present relevant business cases
• Implement and report on sourcing strategies throughout the sourcing lifecycle
• Interface with key stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business requirements
• Provide category expertise and project management skills for all procurement initiatives
• Provide input into strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility

Accountable in managing the commerciality and sourcing of all products, commodities, contract services, and suppliers for +-300 Restaurants in South Africa by applying procurement best practice with the aim of improving quality, innovation, service to restaurants and minimising total cost of ownership, whilst mitigating risks to ensure restaurants sales, stabilized GP and EBITDA improvement. Minimum Qualification:

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Strategy Formulation and Procurement Policies and Procedures:
• Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies, aligning to the 3-5 years SA Strategy and the Global Nando’s Supply Chain strategy
• Lead strategic sourcing and supply management activities for a category of spend with the goal of achieving stabilized or improved restaurant GP’s, menu pricing less than inflation, assured and quality products supply for improved sales and influence and support new product development.
• Develop and implement category plans, aligned to the regional brand and business plan that ensure cost reduction such as value analysis, engineering and standardization – impacting restaurants GP, EBITDA and our overall menu pricing
