Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Paramedic or an Emergency Care Practitioner (2026). Unendorsed driver’s licence (C1) and valid professional drivers permit (PrDP) for transporting patients. 

 

DUTIES : Oversee and ensure operational readiness for emergency calls. Provide pre-hospital emergency medical care. Render assistance to Basic Life Support and Intermediate Life Support personnel as required. Perform Helicopter Emergency Medical Services duties. Undertake inter-facility patient transfers.
