The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sectors; to strategically lead on innovation and maritime coordination and implementation activities to respond to the needs of provincial economy. MKI is looking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified South African Citizen to fill the following positions:
MANAGER: MARITIME
Salary level 12: R 929 090,12 per annum

Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Master’s degree in Maritime Studies or related Commercial Degree (SAQA, NQF9)• A minimum of 5-years Maritime research or maritime related experience, 3 years of which should be in a management role. A valid driver’s license• A PhD would be an added advantage. Experience with data analysis tool would also be an added advantage.
MANAGER: RESEARCH
Salary level 13: R 1 130 429,53 per annum

MANAGER: MONITORING AND EVALUATION
Salary level 12: R 929 090,12 per annum

A valid driver’s license.

Salary level 09: R 402 633,24 per annum
