EXPERIENTIAL LEARNER: PHOTOGRAPHY

BACKGROUND The Moses Kotane Institute is looking to appoint a suitably qualified South African unemployed youth interested in gaining experience within the photography field.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS National Diploma, NQF level 6 in Photography or Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, NQF level 7 or related qualification from an accredited tertiary institution. Minimum 1-year practical experience (including pre-graduation experience). Portfolio of evidence. Driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assist MKI brand visibility by providing photographic photography services. Travel to all MKI events to execute photographic duties. Share edited photography on relevant social media pages. Provide editing and photo printing as and when required. Assist with other digital communications functions. Proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment.
CORE COMPETENCIES Proficiency in Microsoft office applications. Strong use a variety of photographic equipment to capture events, people, objects or scenes for records, art or commercial use, creativity, communication skills.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT The successful candidate will be offered a 24-month fixed term contract, remunerated at R7 000.00- R10 000.00 (Total Cost To Entity)
