Education Specialist English First Additional Language x 1 Permanent

SALARY NOTCH: R394 032 – R953 043 per annum
Requirements: An appropriate National Diploma or bachelor’s degree with English as major. In possession of professional qualification. Three years ‘experience in teaching English L2-L4 or an equivalent level. Fully computer literate, proof must be attached (certificate or subject statement). Sound communication skills. Knowledge of the relevant legislative policies and guidelines that governs the Public TVET sector. Registered with SACE. Available to work flexi hours. Valid driver’s license. The following will be deemed as an advantage: Knowledge of a LMS system. Supervisory or management experience. Teaching experience in the TVET sector.
Duties Ensure Curriculum delivery in the section. Co-ordinate students, lecturers, and administrative processes in the section. Monitor and control all academic activities in the section including the management of staff and student attendance, staff allocation, monitoring and evaluation of curriculum delivery. Ensure the effective control of all assets in the section. Ensure that all assessments and examinations are credible and in line with policies. Facilitation and assessment of English in the NCV section as per workload. Ensure that classroom management and management of students records in the section. Analyse, and report on student performance to management. Provide guidance on the latest developments and approaches in the field. Provide guidance and support in the implementation and utilization of LMS. Provide guidance to newly and experienced appointed lecturers. Liaise with students, parents and other relevant stakeholders and support student and staff development. Be available for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to enhance own personal development. Encourage and sustain academic excellence and improved learner results.
Senior Communication and Marketing Officer x Permanent

REQUIRMENTS: Grade 12 plus an appropriate National Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies or any related qualification. 3-5 years relevant working experience. Computer literacy (Ms word, Ms Power-Point, Ms Excel, and Ms outlook). A valid driver’s licence. Knowledge of TVET sector/ Public sector. Knowledge of legislative frameworks such as PFMA, CET Act, PAIA Act, Public Service Act. Excellent writing and communication skills. Good public speaking and presentation skills. Exposure to marketing and communication environment.
DUTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for rendering effective communication and marketing of the College programmes through learner recruitment campaigns such as school visits, career exhibitions and roadshows. Plan and coordinate events and campaigns as agreed within timeframes. Develop and produce quarterly internal publications, Annual Report, and marketing materials. Maintain corporate identity and brand visibility. Conduct media liaison including media monitoring. Efficiently co-ordinate the college social network (media). Conduct market research and analyse data to identify target group/needs. Develop content for college communication platforms. Conduct/Maintain stakeholder engagements. Perform any other assigned duties.
Chief Registry Clerk x2 Permanent

REQUIREMENTS: Matric Certificate or Equivalent with 6-10 years clerical/administration working experience or a recognized REQV13 qualification in Public Administration/ Management/ Information and Records Management/ Human Resource Management/ Business Management or equivalent relevant qualification with 3-5 years relevant administrative working experience in Registry department Knowledge of registry duties, mailing, courier services as well as ability to capture data and operate a computer. Knowledge of filing of documents, storage and retrieval procedures in terms of the working environment Working knowledge and understanding of legislative framework governing the Registry work such as NARS Act, Public Services Act, POPI Act etc. Ability to interpret, apply policies, directive and relevant prescripts Planning and organising, presentation and report writing skills •Good communication skills (Verbal and written) Code EB / C1 Valid driver’s license.

DUTIES: Receive and direct telephonic and electronic calls and messages. Liaise with clients, managers and related stakeholders as directed. Receive and engage visitors. Keep a logbook of each day’s visitors. Ensure a clean reception area. Receive and administer the flow of information and documents in the Office. Assist with enquiries related to the Office. File/store, trace and electronically and manually retrieve documents and files. Ensure the safekeeping of documentation. Responds to enquiries received from internal and external stakeholders as directed.
