DIESEL MECHANIC: TRADES TRAINING
REF: SVD1/06/2023
SALARY NOTCH: R244 884 – R522 735 per annum
 
Requirements: An appropriate recognized Trade Test Certificate from Accredited Training Provider or Industry and Trade related Courses and Qualifications. Seven years’ experience in the mining or engineering related industry. Extensive diesel mechanic trade knowledge and experience. Good communication skills and people management skills.
 
Duties: Responsible for theoretical and practical training as well as competency assessments of learners engaged in trades training programmes. Carry out theoretical training in the workshop. Carry out practical training of students. Maintain records and monitor students ‘progress. Monitor training progress of individual students.
 
 
 
 
TEMPORARY MATHEMATICS LECTURER

SALARY NOTCH: R244 884 – R522 735 per annum
 
Requirements: An appropriate Matric plus three-year National Diploma (REQV 13) or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification with Mathematics as a major subject. A professional teaching qualification and teaching experience at TVET College will be an added advantage. Ability to analyse, interpret policies and develop guideline to support students at the campus. Good communication and writing skills. Computer literacy skill is recommended. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. Registered with SACE.
 
Duties: To engage in class teaching of NATED Mathematics N3-N6. To plan, coordinate, control, administer, evaluate, and report on students’ academic progress. To enhance learning as an active process and be prepared to use a variety of strategies to meet the subject and learning outcomes of the curriculum. To create and maintain classroom environment that stimulates positive learning and actively engage students in the learning process. To conduct blended and online teaching.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: ASSET AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT X 1
PERMANENT
SALARY NOTCH: R393 711 – R475 596 per annum

Requirements: Grade 12 / equivalent qualification plus a recognized relevant Finance Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree. A Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. At least three (3) years relevant and supervisory experience. Knowledge and understanding of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, PPPFA, CET Act and application of GRAP standards. Computer Literate. Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal as well as problem solving skills.
 
Duties: Monitor and review the capturing of all physical (moveable and immovable) assets in the GL and asset registers. Monitor and review the allocation of assets to asset holders. Review monthly reconciliations of asset GL and FAR. Compile GRAP compliant Fixed Asset Register. Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relations. Ensure effective and efficient inventory management and reporting. Assist in the compilation of annual financial statements. Prepare monthly and quarterly SCM reports. Supervision of employees to ensure sound asset management and SCM practices. Implement and monitor internal controls and processes to ensure effective and efficient functioning of the division. Manage the tendering and entire SCM processes including quotations. Manage contract and commitment registers. Ensure adherence to SCM processes, policies, and procedures. Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide access to documentation.
