Duties: Network maintenance and administration of core network and server infrastructure and Services, maintenance and monitoring of security environments (patch management, Antivirus, firewalls & Intrusion Prevention); maintaining virtual server infrastructure and services; Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard data and restrict access appropriately; maintaining messaging infrastructure and Services; Monitoring and maintaining backups; Maintain enterprise infrastructure monitoring and reporting technologies; Implementation and support of Server Operating systems.

Salary Notch: R 257 508 – R303 339 per annum 
 
Requirements: A Senior Certificate/Grade 12/NCV Certificate (Level 4), National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or an equivalent qualification in IT. Three (3) years’ experience in ICT enterprise environment. A+, N+, CCNA or any networking certification will be an added advantage Knowledge of Public Service transformation and management issues, Public Service Regulations and relevant prescripts. Good communication skills, Conflict management, Knowledge of Administration and Financial systems, analytical and problem solving. Knowledge of A+ and N+ will be an added advantage. Hardware and Software support skills. Experience with computer peripherals such as data projectors, printers, modems, scanners and other communication devices. A valid driver’s license. 
 
Duties: Network management. Plan, maintain and rationalize network software and hardware. Develop emergency, recovery and contingency plans. Ensure that hardware installations comply with standards. Ensure virus infections on IT site is minimal. Perform data backup. Monitor IT users. Proactive identification of potential IT problems. Provide desktop support to end users. Manage and set up new hardware following IT Policies and Procedures. OS Server support- Microsoft 2008 R2, 2012 R2. Experience of SQL Server 2012, Active Directory with a Hyper V environment. Respond to log calls and escalating calls as required with key support vendors.
 
 
 
 
 
POST: Mathematics Lecturer x 1 Permanent

Salary Notch: R211 731 – R467 925 per annum 
 
Requirements: National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Mathematics. A professional teaching qualification will be an added advantage. Experience; working at a TVET College in the teaching discipline and learning will be an added advantage. Ability to analyse, interpret policies and develop guideline to support students at the Campus. Good communication and writing skills. Computer literacy skill is recommended. Ability to work in a team and under pressure. A minimum of 1 year teaching experience of the subject will be an added advantage. Registered with SACE. 
 
Duties: To engage in class teaching. To plan, co-ordinate, control, administer, evaluate and report on students’ academic progress. To enhance learning as an active process and be prepared to use a variety of strategies to meet the subject and learning outcomes of the curriculum. To create and maintain classroom environment that stimulates positive learning and actively engage students in the learning process.
