FUND ADMINISTRATOR - CONTRACT APPOINTMENT
POSITION: FUNDS ADMINISTRATOR X1

UNIT: COLLEGE SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
SALARY: R 376 413 p.a plus 37% benefits (SL 8)
CONTRACT PERIOD: 4 YEAR CONTRACT

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualification: a relevant Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Administration or Project Management. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Built Environment. Demonstrated project administration experience in managing project, construction management skills and basic accounting skills. Considerable knowledge of standard administration practices and procedures is a necessity for this position. An understanding of organizational processes and group dynamics. Demonstrated knowledge and use of project methodology such as PMBOK, Prince or similar. Demonstrable ability to use of the Microsoft Office (MS Projects, Excel, Power point, Word & MS Outlook). Proven track record of preparing projects/programme progress reports and presentations for various stakeholders (Head Office Executives, Project Consultants or Sub-Committees of Council.
DUTIES: The incumbent will be responsible for the administration of the project, developing a project plan from concept to completion using an appropriate project methodology (PMBOK). Ensuring project activities and meetings are scheduled; taking minutes and drafting of action lists for each project; follow-up on action list to ensure delivery; confirming commissioning, hand over and sign-off of the projects; monitor project progress in liaison with project sponsor/owner/lead; validating invoices/claims submitted by contractors / vendors for payment; monthly reporting on the project spent.
KEY MEASUREMENTS OF OUTPUTS: Successful project administration of agreed projects, programmes and assignments. Management of diaries and schedules. Risk assessment accuracy. Management of office administration (budget, procurement, presentations, etc.). Accuracy and quality of minutes. Accurate record keeping. Quality of documents, presentations and reports.

Requirements:
Must be in possession of a Grade 12/National Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4
National Diploma/Degree in Office Management/ Computer Science/ Information Technology / Management Assistant supported by a Teaching Qualification (BED, NPDE-VT, ACE, PGCE).
Proof of SACE registration.
Teaching Experience at the TVET Sector would serve as an added advantage
Must be computer literate
Subjects allocated to this posts are:
Computer Practice N4, N5 and N6
Office Practice N4
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and learning delivery.
Student guidance and support.
Manage all academic and administrative activities in the classroom.
Set and mark all assignments, tests and internal exams for timeous return and meeting the deadlines.
Maintain a POA, POE and Subject files in accordance with the college academic Policy.
Control and assessment of student’s files.
Record keeping of student marks / competence and attendance in accordance with the policy.
Attend subject meetings.
Ensure adherence to Subject and Assessment guidelines.
Work closely with the Senior Lecture/HOD in the division and the Student liaison officer to provide academic and other support required by students.
