DUTIES
-Receive and dispatch incoming emergency calls. - To ensure effective service delivery for public, when in need. - General Administrative duties: - By logging all calls received. - Logging all records. - Filing this logged information by using a confidential filing system. - Perform and all-inclusive switchboard function for Public Safety. - To ensure the smooth operation of the section. - Cleaning of control facility. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

-Responding on daily tasks and orders from the Station Officer. - Attendance to the workplace. - Testing and checking of vehicles and equipment. - Cleaning of equipment and vehicles. - Reporting of any malfunctions to the officer on duty. - Assist with combatting of fires by responding with senior personnel to incidents. - Adhering to command on scenes. - Fighting of grass and wild land and structural fires. - Protecting property from fires as well as fire equipment. - Attending to control room duties when required. - Any other tasks given to him/her by his/her superior. - Rescue work.

-Grade 12 (Matric) / N3. - National Diploma in electrical or Qualified electrician (red seal.) - Wireman’s licence will be an added advantage. - Valid Driver’s License CI (PDP will be an added advantage). - Experience in Electricity Metering (Prepaid and conventional). - Knowledge of programmable meters will be an added advantage. - Must be willing to perform standby overtime duties. - Three (03) years’ relevant electrical experience preferably within a local government environment.
 
DUTIES
-Responsible for meter audits and issue temper fines working along with the Energy Section. - Responsible for replacing faulty meters. - Responsible for reading electricity meters physically and electronically. - Identify faulty meters and implement remedial actions. - Installation of metering infrastructure. - Attend to metering queries both prepaid and conventional. - Correcting accounts and recovering lost revenue. - Supervises and control over the allocated personnel. - Responsible for the safety of equipment and vehicles within area of responsibility. - Read Bulk meters on a monthly basis. - Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by management from time to time.

-Responsible for loading and off-loading of materials and equipment of the section with protected hands and safety tools. -  Unblock sewer pipelines using rodding equipment’s. – Clean sewage remains after blockages and sewer overflow. - Working in sewer confined space drainage manhole. – Cleaning of VIP and chemical toilets. – Using small plant equipment’s for compaction and sewer related works. - Excavation using picks and shovels. – Cleaning of pump station sumps. – Cutting of grass and housekeeping. – Cleaning of tools, vehicles and equipment’s Put out traffic signs to warn traffic about workers next to municipal roads during excavation works. - Clean in and around the working area of responsibility with broom and various manual labour equipment tools to ensure clean environment. - Do any labour related work when requested by either the supervisor or the superintendent of the section. - Execution of all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth running of the section. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

DUTIES:
