REQUIREMENTS
-Grade 12. - National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Secretarial or Administration. - Project Management & Financial Management skills and experience (added advantage). - Valid Driver’s License. - Computer Literate (MSWord, Excel & PowerPoint). - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. - Ability to display good telephone etiquette, always communicate effectively and to act with integrity and confidentiality. - Skills and competencies associated with vocation: adaptability, analytical thinking, empowerment, communication, leadership skills, presentation skills, conflict and stress management skills, negotiation skills. - A professional, hardworking, highly motivated, and self-disciplined person with good organisational, interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. - 2-5 years secretarial experience at senior level within Local Government Authority.
 
DUTIES
-Provide a comprehensive Secretarial function for the Director’s: Office of the MM: Proper management and coordination of the Director’s diary. Composes and types routine letters, memoranda, reports, minutes of meetings, etc. Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls, takes messages, and schedule appointments. Sorts, opens and distributes incoming mail for the Director’s: Office of the MM. Schedules and arranges meetings and conferences and responsible for necessary travel arrangements. Proofreads and corrects prepared materials for correct grammar, format, completeness, and content. Establishes and maintains office files, logs, indexes, and other related records. Enters, retrieves, updates, verifies, and deletes information from electronic files. Takes minutes and recordings of meetings. - Supervises the General Worker / Cleaner. - Capture all Performance Management outcomes on the system and keeping of POE files. - Financial Administration related to purchase orders, processing of invoices and budget control. - Provide administrative assistance to the Director’s: Office of the MM. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time.

SENIOR CLERK - DEBT COLLECTION MN 3797/24

REQUIREMENTS
-Grade 12. - National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent NQF qualification. - Driver’s License added advantage. - Computer Literate (MS Office, Solar). - Knowledge and understanding of the MFMA. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) - Skills and Competencies associated with vocation: adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing and typing skills, attention to detail. - 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in Debt Collection within Local Government.
 
DUTIES
-Handle enquiries from debtors: - Arrangements, final notices and handover accounts for collection to ensure an effective service to the public. - All queries with attorneys regarding handovers. - Giving up to date information needed for legal procedures to recover arrears and minimize outstanding debt. - Assisting with indigent queries and registrations. - Administration process regarding indigent policy. - Journals by correcting handover accounts to ensure that corrections are done as soon as possible for effective service delivery. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
 
SALARY:  R 246 336.00 – R 281 388.00 p.a.  (Level 08 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
 Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 396 667.92 p.a.

DIRECTOR - ELECTRICAL SERVICES MN 3796/24

REQUIREMENTS
-Relevant B-Degree or equivalent qualification (BSc. Or BTech. Electrical Engineering). - Government Competency Certificate (GCC) added advantage. - Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage. - Meet minimum MFMA requirements or qualify for dispensation. - Driver’s License with own vehicle. - Computer Literacy MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects. - Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills. - Proven Management skills. - Project and Financial management skills. - Attention to detail. - Competent in interpretation, implementation and enforcement of relevant legislation and applicable policies. - 10 (Ten) years relevant experience related to Electrical Engineering and the Management of the division of which at least 3 (Three) years must be at Senior Management Level. - Proven knowledge of Local Government Supply Chain Regulations
 
DUTIES
-Manage professional, technical, budgetary, analytical and administrative duties relevant to the management and coordination of Electrical Services. - Assuming responsibility to provide electrical infrastructure to communities within the jurisdiction of the municipality to sustain, increase and improve the bulk supply of electricity. - Undertake all primary functions of the department in accordance with legislative requirements. - Manages low, medium and high voltage reticulation of electricity to ensure safe and effective supply. - Scrutiny, check and recommends payment certificates of contractors and consultants. - Ad-hoc analysis, projects, tenders and investigations when required. - Plan and update emergency plans within the department. - Determine tariffs for budgetary planning. - Compile electrical by-laws and standards for the electrical section. - Responsible for financial management within the section, logistical management of assets. - General personnel and administration management. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time.
 
SALARY R 634 164.00 p.a. (Level 01 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total Package Inclusive of all Benefits: R1065 765.96 p.a.
