Job Summary
The Regional Program Coordinator: Teacher Development and ICT Training should support in the coordination of training in the respective region and ensure trainers are capacitated to deliver training programmes of high standards. In addition, the ICT Trainer: Teacher Development and ICT Training will work with other senior managers at Teacher Development Centres and head office (GDE) to address the various training requirements
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities
The Regional Program Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of the programme from inception to the end. This includes:
• Coordinate all training
• Supervise ICT Trainers
• Stakeholder Management
• Monitoring of training
• Materials development
• Managing field related research activities
• Programme Implementation
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Attributes
• Degree in relevant developmental area preferably education, training, learning and development, or other related areas.
Additional qualifications in ICT will be an added advantage
• The incumbent should have in knowledge and experience in education, training delivery, training analysis, materials development, teacher development, teacher training, implementation of ICT solutions to schools and institutions, research and/or ICT training and experience.
• In addition the incumbent should have online facilitation skills as well as the ability to develop online materials.
• The incumbent should have 3 years of experience in the relevant or related educational fields, inclusive of experience in a supervisory role.
