CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AT MALUTI-A-PHOFUNG SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE
 
Applications are invited from suitably qualified experienced persons for appointment in the under mentioned vacancies:
 
Post: Chief Financial Officer

Post level: E2
 
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for providing support to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board by ensuring that the entity implements sound financial management and supply chain services. The CFO further supports the CEO with providing strategic leadership, achievement of the strategic goals and financial sustainability.
 
 
Qualifications and Experience:
· A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
· Professional registration with SAICA, CIMA or any relevant professional body.
· A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in senior financial position in finance or a related field.
 
Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of current financial and accounting systems Ability to develop budgets and financial plans Demonstrated success in financial planning and analysis, and tax planning Familiarity with investment management and funding sources Knowledge of related government legislation and regulations (e.g., PFMA, Treasury Regulations, King IV, Supply Chain and Procurement framework). Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills A valid driver's License Ability to provide strategic financial advice, policy development and governance Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
 
Duties: Assist with the development of the organization financial goals and objectives, financial plan and cash flow management Oversee financial administrative services regarding debtors, creditors, and financial system Compile and oversee adherence to organizational budget Manage revenue and expenditure in line with strategic objectives Analyze and interpret financial and non-financial reports for decision making Ensure that internal controls are in place, enforced and reviewed periodically Perform risk management Preparation of annual financial statements and management of annual audits Control and evaluate the organization's revenue generation plan Develop, maintain, and manage departmental policies Oversee all assets management related activities Ensure effective and efficient supply chain management. Support the CEO with the compilation of the Shareholder Compact, Corporate plan, and annual report.
