Minimum Requirements: Grade 12/ Matric or equivalent together with a recognised three year Diploma/ Degree in Accounting/ Financial Management or equivalent qualification and at least 3-5 years of experience in a relevant financial management environment. Recommendations: At least three years of experience working with SAGE VIP will be an added advantage. Knowledge of financial functions, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collate financial statistics. Knowledge of financial accounting procedure, methods and principles established for the processing of specific salary/ financial transactions. Duties:
  • Ensure overall supervision and provision of salary administration service including balancing of the SAGE VIP to excel spreadsheet. 
  • Review all payroll recons and ensure salary control accounts are balanced 
  • Prepare all payroll related schedules required for the preparation of Interim and Annual Financial Statements 
  • Respond to queries raised by the Internal and External auditors 
  • Any Ad Hoc requests from the AD – Financial Accounting and CFO 
  • Loading of salary scales into SAGE VIP 
  • Preparing and submitting of the EMP 501 recons and filing monthly EMP 201 recons 
  • Supervise human, physical and financial resources

Duties:
  • Facilitate the development of Project Plans 
  • Conduct project related costing investigations. 
  • Compile project budget and cash 
  • Control Project Accounts 
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss costing tables for project. 
  • Provide support in the management project budget and cash flow sheet. 
  • Analyse project expenditure against project budget and project milestones 
  • Receive, evaluate and process request for procurement of consumables/goods of projects 
  • Provide support in the management of funding Grant for projects. 
  • Monitor the in-time availability of funds as per MOU/SLA 
  • Match data to different ledger accounts and verify account postings. 
  • Processing of stipends via the SAGE Payroll system 
  • Loading of the project budgets into SAGE (+_ 50 budgets) 
  • Assist with queries from the Internal and External Auditors 
  • Human resource planning and management of project team 
  • Coordinate and execute the identification, recruitment, evaluation and selection of suitable students and former students for participation in work place opportunities. 
  • Identifying potential partners and networks to benefit and support exiting students.

  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation for WILL and WBE.

  • Capture and update student information and placement locations. 
  • Update placement providers’ details.

Duties:
  • Implement Budget Control and expenditure 
  • Control budget overspending in the institution 
  • Verify information collected from budget holders. 
  • Compare and verify the comparison of expenditure against the budget. 
  • Identify variances and verify the identification of variances. 
  • Verify the capturing, allocations virements on budgets. 
  • Provide stock and asset management service to the College 
  • Manage movement of assets. 
  • Bar code all existing and new assets at the College. 
  • Conduct stock taking according to stock taking plan. 
  • Oversee and monitor the management of stock at all sites within the College. 
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of all assets, as required. 
  • Conduct assessment on assets before acquisitioning/replacing. 
  • Compile the barcode register 
  • Provide support on Income and Expenditure Management 
  • Compile credit applications. 
  • Prepare bank reconciliations.

Recommendations: Certification required in SCM: Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2022. Knowledge in Government policies and procedures in Supply chain management together with knowledge and experience in TVET procurement system and or/operations will be an added advantage. Working experience o Pastel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge in using sage evolution system for procurement processes. 
 
Duties: Schedule all bid specification and bid evaluation meetings and any other relevant meeting that is required. Compiling Evaluation reports and conduct calculation verifications on RFQ’s and Bid documents received. Record all supply chain minutes for the meetings of the Bid Specification, Bid Evaluation and Bid Adjudication meetings or any other meeting where required. Compile 80/20 and 90/10 Preferential Point Systems Calculations. Does filing of documents for the manager and the unit where required. Assist Internal and External Auditors where SCM information is required. Assist with resolving Auditors findings. Processing orders manually and on the SAGE System. Any other SCM functions the Supervisor may deem necessary

The ideal candidate must have proved computer literacy skills and qualifications. 
 
Recommendations: The ideal candidate must be ICT literate and able to use the internet, e.g. Consult websites, access information, download material/make entries electronically, operate the College’s database, produce and operate spreadsheet packages, produce analyses, use email, etc. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to relate well to college staff, candidates of all abilities, parents and carers. Be able to prioritise and manage workload. Be able to work in an organised and methodical way and have sound organisational and coordination skills. Be able to work accurately and keep to deadlines. Able to work under pressure. Maintain confidentiality, have good supervisory skills for management of external invigilation. 
 
Duties:
  • Assist with the coordination of internal and external examination assessment. 
  • Assist in coordinating training for Invigilators, Markers and Data Capturers. 
  • Assist to facilitate examination and Irregularity Committee for the campus and serve as a Secretariat. 
  • Managing the daily running of external examinations. This will include ensuring that all required materials are in the examination rooms for the start of the examinations and arrangements for candidates with special educational needs are in place. 
  • Organising concession provision for students with learning barriers, including liaising with the SSS coordinator regarding candidates with SEN; applying to DHET for special arrangements for such candidates. 
  • Assist to facilitate examination and Irregularity Committee for the campus and serve as a Secretariat. 
  • Assist to process application and issuing of certificates services.

Recommendations:
  • 3 years post qualification industrial workplace experience in the relevant trade.
  • 2 years’ experience in facilitation/ training for Apprenticeships / Learner ships
  • Appropriate Professional Education Qualification 
  • Knowledge of Outcomes Based Education and Training with reference to Apprenticeships / Learner ships. 
  • Trained Assessor and/or Moderator 
  • Experience in design and development of learning material, facilitation guides, lesson guides and assessment tools. 
  • Knowledge of SAQA, NQF, Skills Development Act, FET Act and Learnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct monitoring and quality assurances of learners in the workplace 
  • Facilitation of Courses for Electrical Trades – with focus on electrical (CBMT & Outcomes – based ETD for apprenticeships and learnerships). 
  • Assessment and Moderation of Learner output (Theory & Practical Tests & Assignments). 
  • Management of Learner Achievements, Reports, Records, Evidence & Attendance, including POE’s 
  • Develop Learner & Facilitator Guides for New Courses and Update Existing Learner Guides. 
  • Service & Maintain all Learning and Teaching Equipment and Machinery in a designated workshop to ensure 100% availability. 
  • Keep up to date with latest developments in Industry and ETD.
