NAME OF POSITION: ADULT EDUCATION TRAINING (AET) TEACHER (EPWP PROGRAMME): ONE (01) CONTRACT POSITIONS (Contract period: Twelve (12) months.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- A qualification in Teaching or any other relevant qualification.
- Proof of registration with SACE.
- An experience in the teaching field. Extensive knowledge of Mathematics will be an added advantage.
- Applicants must be unemployed.
- Applicants residing in local villages around LEDET state owned nature reserves will be at an added advantage.
Duties:
- Teach all six subjects (English, Mathematics, Life Orientation, Human and Social Sciences, Natural Science, Economic Management Science, Arts and Culture, Technology, Small Medium and Micro Enterprise as well as Mother-Tongue), 9 hours per week.
- Compile monthly reports
- Assess learners and give feedback.
- Prepare learners for National Examinations
- Submit learners’ names and documents for examination registration.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Life Orientation, Human and Social Sciences, Natural Science, Economic Management Science, Arts and Culture, Technology and lastly Small Medium and Micro Enterprise as well as Mother-Tongue; Be a hard worker and have team spirit.
- Be willing to do the job with diligence and be devoted to his/her work;
- Cooperating with the laws and policies of government; Honest and enthusiastic.
Stipend
- Candidates shall be paid an annual salary package from R 46 200.00, which translates to R350 per day; R 1050 per week and R4 200.00 per month.
- Employer will not be able to provide accommodation and transport for the teachers.
